Cork Foodie Christmas Guide 2021

Shopping local has become more important than ever over the course of the pandemic, with small and new food businesses needing local support. With so many of them offering online and home delivery, it’s easier than ever to support local. 

This year, I decided to put together a Cork foodie guide with some food and drink Christmas Hampers and gift ideas to spoil someone close to you, or as a gift to yourself to make your life easier this Christmas! There are loads of Cork companies doing gorgeous hampers and gift sets this Christmas. 

The Roughty Foodie ‘Pure Cork Food Box’ costing €80 contains Joe’s Farm crisps, Seymour’s biscuits, lemon curd, cork raw honey, Coolea Cheese Gouda Style, Seymour’s savoury biscuits, O’Conáil’s hot chocolate, O’Conáil’s bar of chocolate, west cork red onion marmalade, west cork whiskey marmalade and west cork coffee. Cape Clear Island Distiller ‘Travel the Coast Road Gift Set’ costing €32.36. Travel the Coast Road from the extreme Northwest of Ireland, all the way down to West Cork. The pack has four gins, each in a 100ml bottle. The four gins are: Dúlamán Gin, from Sliabh Liag Distillers in Donegal, Micil Gin, from Galway, Skellig Six18, from Kerry, and their own 3 SQ. West Cork Coffee 3,6- and 12-month subscriptions. A variety of seasonal, single origin coffee, roasted and delivered to your door. On the Pig’s Back ‘Cork Rebel Hamper’ costing €55.
