We are all aware that bananas offer us a hit of energy when we need it. This recipe is delicious and is also kid-friendly. It’s a scrumptious way of having a banana.

- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 200c / 400f and line a baking tray with baking paper or foil.
- Slice the bananas in half, lengthways, with the skin still on (see note 1)
- Place the bananas on the prepared baking tray and squeeze the lime juice evenly over the bananas. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 15 mins.
Leave to cool slightly and serve up!
*You can add additional toppings, I love to add sliced almonds and desiccated coconut.
*These can be eaten on their own or add in a bit of ice cream for a dessert option or I enjoy it with some natural yoghurt and honey.
