Saturday buttermilk pancakes! Or Sunday, or any day pancakes!! These are so easy to make and do yummy!!!
Ingredients:
1 large Egg
1 cup of self-raising flour (110g)
1 cup of buttermilk (225 ml)
1 tbsp caster sugar (15 g)
Butter for frying
Maple syrup/honey
Blueberries
Strawberries
Method:
Put the flour and sugar into a large mixing bowl. Slowly add the buttermilk whisking all the time. Crack your egg into the mix and whisk it up.
Over medium heat, melt some butter in a frying pan.
Put a few tablespoons of the batter into the pan for each pancake.
Cook the pancakes on one side until you see little bubbles appearing, this should take 2-3 minutes.
Flip them over and cook for another 2 minutes. Keep going until all the batter is gone.
Pile one on top of other on the plate, ( 3 or 4 per serving)
You can just add honey or maple syrup or for that extra yumminess some chopped berries and pour over your maple syrup!
You can also cook up some yummy bacon instead of fruit and add to pancakes with maple syrup
Delicious!!! ???
